We share Kristina's excitement with the Make-A-Wish Spain foundation.

This week at Samba Hotels, we will share Kristina's excitement with the Make-A-Wish Spain foundation. As communicated by the Director of Social Work of the Foundation, Dr. Lourdes Valls, 'Kristina is a 3-year-old mermaid in love with the sea, water, and the beach. She is very curious and observant, and when she knows you're looking at her... she puts on a smile, wrinkling her whole face, that is enchanting. When we met her, she was undergoing treatment at the hospital. The first thing she did was talk to us about the beach, the animals that live in it, the sand, and the water. The parents explained that she likes all animals in general, but those in the marine world, in particular, are her favorites: dolphins, fish... and that every single day she dreams of going to the beach again.

The first time she swam in the sea, she enjoyed it so much that she keeps asking her parents when she can do it again. Due to the treatment, Kristina hasn't been able to enjoy the beach as she would like: rolling in the sand, taking her float, her towel, and jumping and playing like all kids do. Her doctor knows how beneficial it will be for her to make this dream come true because it's an injection of vitality, strength, and energy for the entire family that helps them continue with the treatment.'

The Make-A-Wish Spain Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps children with serious illnesses fulfill their dreams as part of the comprehensive treatment of the disease.
